New Year 2008
Journal Entry: Sun Jan 6, 2008, 8:02 PM
Well can't possibly believe that I last wrote in September 2007 and goodness knows when I last posted a photograph. Never mind , my hobby is still photography and of courses the end product for me is to see them in Creative Memory Albums, called scrapbooking. The photos come alive with a bit of a story attached to each page. Something to look back long after I have gone, not that I am planning to do that in the near future. I turned 64 in November 07 and still have lots of fun and spirit left in me. On the photograpic side of things I have not had really worthwhile to submit but have taken quite a few nice photos for my own use of our holiday at Caloundra for my birthday and also of our time with our eldest Grandaughter who had finished year 12. She did very well indeed and achieved a score of 3 for her OP. For those not in Australia, the highest is 1, lowest being 25, this gives them a entrance into University which she obviously has achieved. Well done Elizabeth.
We have been busy making lots of new cupboards again, one for my spare bedroom and two for the upstairs house for our youngest Australian grandaughter for her toys.
At the end of March we will be welcoming our son, wife and two little girls, one of 4 and one of 3. Hopefully during the month of April I can pick his brains with regard to photography as I am always in great admiration to his achievements both on Deviant Art and Outdoor Photo.
Well not much more news, lots of rain over the past 2 weeks but unfortunatley not enough in the catchment areas so our main dam is still only 22%, whereas in other dams that don't feed the main Brisbane grid, they have had in some places 300 to 400mm. Boo Hoo, why not in our area. All we have had is lots of humidity which is not very pleasant

Been around the world and found
That only stupid people are breeding
The cretins cloning and feeding
And I don't even own a TV
